Locatable Cane

This class project was inspired by users of medical walking canes forgetting where their canes were and walking away without them. We aimed to create a way for the user to track where their cane was with the least amount of technology and added weight as possible. To do so, we created a mock-up prototype which would clasp around the cane and lock at varying positions on the cane. This allowed the user to rest the cane on any surface, varying in height, and has a slot for an air-tag which provided simple tracking for an elderly user.
